Daily standup
- Outline: Promote frequent opportunities to inspect and adapt.
- Goal: Ensure that the team is focusing on the right thing.
- Duration: Under 10 minutes.
- Frequency: Every day.
How-to
- Assemble all the team members as soon as everyone is at the office.
- Everyone answers to these 3 questions:
- What have you worked on yesterday?
- What will you work on today?
- What is preventing you from doing your work?
Notes:
- Keep it simple and leave details out. If someone needs to discuss anything, do it after the meeting.
- Don't wait all morning. If someone is missing by the usual time, go ahead anyway.
- If the team has remote workers and the timezone difference allows, setup a recurring Meet room.
- Prepare the call in advance, before assembling everyone.
